Program Policies

Online Learning Courses

  • All online after-school programs, Spring, Summer and Fall camps are currently included in a virtual Zoom environment with 10 students or fewer.
  • For all online classes, students are expected to provide their own computers as outlined in the registration criteria unless specified otherwise.

  • Code For Fun will contact you prior to the start of the program to inform you of the start date and the location of the class. In order to maintain the highest levels of security and privacy, Zoom links will be sent 24-48 hours in advance of the class start date and time.
  • If a student is not able to attend a session, please contact the lead instructor to let him/her know before the class starts whenever possible (review cancellation policy for more details).
  • If a student is not reported absent and is not present in the class we will attempt to contact the legal guardian, for the security of the student.
  • All students are expected to comply with the behavior guidelines of standard school practices and in the event there is an issue, the legal guardians shall immediately be contacted.

In-person Programs

  • In-person programs in the local San Francisco Bay Area will follow all local city, county and state protocols regarding COVID-19 regulations at the time and date of your registered class.
  • For in-person programs, students are expected to be careful when handling computer devices. And please follow local COVID-19 protocols including exclusion of food and drink during participation.
  • Code For Fun is NOT responsible for any damage to students' personal computers should they decide to bring one to class. This also applies to personal mobile devices.
  • Code For Fun is NOT responsible for the students before and after the stated class time (in-person learning).

  • Legal guardians are required to complete the Dismissal Form. Legal guardians are expected to check in and check out students unless arrangements are indicated on the Dismissal Form. Link to Dismissal Form is available per class, in your User Profile.

CS League Policy

  • All in-person program policies apply (see above).
  • Once the subscription starts, it can be cancelled anytime, with a 30 days notice.
  • Subscription are set monthly, regardless of the number of sessions in a month
  • There is a one-time non-refundable registration fee per student.
  • Late enrollment on a prorated basis is allowed upto the 7th class of the semester.
  • In between semesters, your subscription will be paused until the program starts again.
  • There are no refunds for missed classes. CSLeague students may attend an equivalent class during the week of a missed class or in the week following the missed class.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • In-person programs with a signed and paid registration are eligible to receive 100% refund with at least 7 days notice prior to the start of class. Following, no refunds are available (all refunds apply to direct purchases through Code For Fun , any participation through external portals or cities/counties direct are subject to third party cancellation policies).
  • Online learning classes and camps with a signed and paid registration will receive 100% cancellation with at least 7 days notice prior to the start of class. A 50% refund is applicable with less than 7 days notice, however no refunds will be provided with less than 72 hours notice prior to the start of the class.
  • Our commitment to education and access to computer learning for all, we are always willing to work with parents and students to relocate a class that may not be a good fit - always ask by contacting us.
  • We will use reasonable efforts to give notice of any cancellation of any courses for unforeseen reasons. If the course cannot be rescheduled, You may be entitled to a refund of any fee paid in respect of the cancelled services but shall not otherwise be entitled to any compensation, costs, losses or damages arising from such cancellation.
  • Code For Fun offers NO refunds or make-up sessions for missed classes.
  • These policies constitute the entire agreement between all parties and supersede any previous communications, representations or agreements between parties, whether oral or written, regarding transactions hereunder. Your purchase will constitute your acceptance of these terms which may not be changed except by an amendment signed by an authorized representative of each party.
